The increase will result in the value of the country’s e-commerce market reaching the level of Switzerland, according to a study by trade federations EuroCommerce and Ecommerce Europe.
Around 60 percent of adult Poles shop online, the report said. In comparison, the option is used by up to 90 percent people in the developed economies of Western Europe.
Already 63 percent of Polish Internet users spend at least the same amount of money online as in stationary stores, according to the Mobile Institute report for the Chamber of Electronic Economy.
